Location is our best hope with Judson, hopefully staying near home is the route that he wants to go..

Huge, huge loss if we cant keep him. We need play makers to keep this momentum

It makes me laugh how all these kids are calling Oregon their "dream school" now that they are getting offers from Taggart.  They can go where they like.  I can promise every Ducks fans, this...Taggart will connect with kids and get talent to the school.  But you'll pull at least a few hand fulls of hair out watching him get outcoached in critical games.  Then trying to run it up against lesser foes.

That's why they signed Jim, we were always up for those big games while he was here but would lose focus to the lesser teams. Sort of a Ying to Willies Yang thing.

The pain for me during Leavitt was him getting out coached by Schiano so often.  I always felt we had the talent, but they game planned & adjusted better. I'm trying not to sound anti-Taggart, but I think his coaching lags his results.

If CJL was out coached, and CWT was out coached, I guess those two negatives could be positive... in Oregon.

Only if you multiply.  if you add, it gets worse :-)

I'll always pull for Leavitt...he put his heart & soul into our program and set the foundation only Holtz could stress. Credit to Taggart for getting some key talent in, gambling on Flowers and eventually turning him loose at Cuse.

Anyone else following Judson on twitter? I realize that he is a 17/18 year old kid...but he acts more like a 12 year old girl

I try not to check in on him, and don't follow him, as I don't want to litter my timeline.  But he LOVES any Tweet to him, and rambles about chicks, his skills and other recruits.  I have no clue where he's going, but if his Twitter is any indication (and I'm sure its not), he's going to struggle to academically qualify at some schools.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
