Just purchased my transportation and tickets for the game!

I'm currently trying to figure out our tailgate before the game. Athletics and the alumni association have their tailgate at Chickie's and Pete's, but the $45 price tag seems way too steep.

I sadly have to agree on the cost for the tailgate.  I'd be in $120 for this tailgate and I'm not sure it's worth it.  The good thing is you can walk from C & P to the stadium so there is no parking cost.

I think the away tailgates are more another form of fundraising rather than something you're looking for concrete value for in comparison to other tailgating options ...

We're staying at the Holiday Inn Express down by the stadium.. wondered if they'd be staying there.

Anyone know where the official visitors section is in the stadium? My plan was to buy the cheapest stubhub seats and wander over there but if the official section is only a few dollars more I'll do that as to not need to wander.

And did this thread decide on any bars nearby beforehand? With the potential for rain I (well mostly my wife) figured a bar would be good for pregaming...
