As a Cub fan, I was worried he wouldn't be able to repeat last year given how good he was and the major amount of innings he threw, but he looked pretty **** good tonight. I'm not sure what I'm going to do in the fall watching USF football and a legit Chicago Cubs team. Rooting for multiple winning teams is not something I'm used to.

As a Pirates fan, I was certainly hoping for a collapse.  Cubs are stacked.  Could be their year.

Dude is 15-0 in last 16 starts with. .053 era and two no hitters in that stretch.  

 

No pitcher has every thrown a no hitter and hasn't lost a game In between throwing another.  Not like that's a shock it's never happened before but amazing it did happen.  

His only non decision vs the mets in the playoffs when the swept the Cubs.

i think i undertand your point

jake a was in the discount bin

usually teams trade for a need

no- trout was drafted so only the teams that picked ahead of the angels had a shot at him
