He's a baller.  Fast and great arm.  Should seriously look at him, but USF isn't showing much love.  Another local kid being recruited harder by out of town teams.

Why is it that you are saying the exact same thing over and over in every thread? Are you a local high school coach or something? Maybe you have a point, but it doesn't add up seeing how Taggart has talked a ton about building a wall around Tampa.

I'm going with disgruntled dad who's kid didn't get recruited. Not because he wasn't good enough, but because USF doesn't pay attention to Tampa.

6 weeks ago, he was at junior day and tweeting about the coaching staff and how great it went. Since then, I'm assuming, the staff is slightly more focused on their own team and Spring practice. Either the kid has impossibly ridiculous expectations for how recruiting looks and thinks the staff should be more focused on him than the actual team or the poster is blowing smoke.

You guys happy with how hard USF is hitting Tampa?  I'm neither a disgruntled father, nor a coach.  Helluva wall we're building around it Tampa.  Do you know any players or coaches in the area?  If you do, you know their opinion.

Looks like his only offers are from FAMU, Mercer, and Samford.

Considering Coach King headed up Team Tampa for a few years, I'm willing to bet that Taggart is well aware of what players to target locally. We're not going to get all of them. That SEC allure is too great for some, but those that truly want to build something here and have the talent, will stick around. Taggart's awareness of Tampa talent versus his predecessor is a "night and day" difference.
