Well, we are pretty solid on RB talent, but this would have been a difference maker for us....

Shame, but I wish him the best of success.   Wish he had become a Bull but he has to make a decision that works for him.

As a local kid, wish him a healthy and, personally, productive career ..... but hope he loses every game.

I hope he gets a good degree and has a long, productive, professional career as an insurance salesman. I also hope he hates playing at UF.

I hate this.  He was an afterthought to UF until the other RB de-comitted.

According to the article in today's Times, ..."Davis said he considered North Carolina and Miami, but after visiting Gainesville last summer, he was convinced that was the school for him. ...

Not one mention of USF.

What are the odds he transfers back after 2 years of disillusionment in Gainesville?

We are not considered a viable option by the media of the kid has a p5 offer.

"Davis said he considered North Carolina and Miami ... ". Did the media misquote him?

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
