I'm up there at least once a year visiting inlaws, and the Mrs. and I hit up at least one distillery every time. We have not been to Heaven Hill yet, but that part of the state is gorgeous, particularly in the fall/spring. It's on the list and thanks for the heads-up about the "high-end" tour. Thus far we've been to Maker's, 4 Roses, Woodford, Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam and the Evan Williams Experience in downtown Louisville.

By the way, I forgot to mention.  If you stop by Heaven Hill, you may want to pick up a bottle of Larceny.  I did not mention it earlier because it currently only has limited availability and I don't believe it is much outside of Kentucky.  But IIRC it sells for just over $20.  Had a couple of bourbon drinking friends pick Larceny over three other $50ish dollar bourbons in a blind taste test including the Four Roses Single Barrel I mentioned above.  It was truly an amazing find, though I suppose the price may rise if it becomes popular and more well known.

As for Watkins mentioned above, that just might rank at the bottom of my list of bourbons I've ever tasted. :)

Very nice!  That is a constant in my rotation.  Well rounded bourbon.

The "value" Four Roses is also my top choice amongst value brands.

Not sure if anyone here has checked out Caskers, they have a "Whiskey Club" I've been thinking about giving a try.

Been on a Thomas Jefferson's RSB kick.  Very solid for the price, a little on the sweet side.  Satisfies my highland scotch palate.

I spotted a new bourbon here in Orlando yesterday.  It is a newer bourbon from Heaven Hill distilleries.  Got my first bottle a year or two ago while visiting the trail, had not seen it distributed in Florida until yesterday.  I enjoyed it quite a bit, and a fellow bourbon lover liked it better than several higher priced bourbons.  Total Wine has it around $28, but I saw it at Walmart liquor store for $22.  At that price it is a real bargain.

I just saw I had posted about Larceny previously.  I guess I like it.
