So if UCiF views this as a rivalry...

The Bulls better be ready.

I happened to have the chance to go see ASU vs Arizona for Territory Cup.  Both teams have had average seasons, but ASU looked  a mess most of the year.  There was talk of benching the senior QB, and begin building towards next year.  They weren't even bowl eligible until their extremely impressive win over Arizona.  It looked as if they had prepared for weeks, if not months.

Those idiots to the northeast of us have nothing else to play for, much like the Sun Devils yesterday (save for a chance at a crummy bowl).  This will be ALL the tinmen can accomplish this year.

If ever we needed to "Finish Strong" this is the time.

I hope CWT keeps the starters in until the start of the middle of 4th...that is all I am saying about those UCiF bastards.

This is basically their Super Bowl. It has never been easy getting a win in Orlando even when they were bad 4 win CUSA teams in 2006 and 2008 and we were a 9 win team in 2006 and #17 ranked team in 2008 both wins were by just a TD and one in overtime. I expect we will show up to play in this one and win by 3 or 4 scores with the conference title still within reach but you never know in these kind of games. We would have to have an epic meltdown to not win this one comfortably.

I don't know about that Brad. We lost to these guys 16-0 last year. Arizona State had not been playing that bad this season, especially the last five weeks if you include yesterday. Road lost to ranked Utah, Three OTs against ranked Oregon(ducks sure look good to me now), a loss to a very good ranked Washington State team, and then a win over Washington.

Point is Arizona State hadn't been awful. Few bounces here or there and their season is different. Their bad game was at the start of the year against USC. UCF is 0-11 no chance for a bowl game against us. I don't buy this crap that this is their bowl, it doesn't matter when this game is played it will be big to both teams.

We should win easy.

I owe my brother-in-law a six pack if we don't win by at least three touchdowns. If we win by that much or more then he owes me a six pack. I'm already contemplating which beer I would like for him to buy.

Gotta jump on them early.  This UCF team will fold if given the chance.  Hopefully QF and company are prepared to put up more points this year.

They already played their rival...  UConn!    This is just going to be a baby seal hunt.

UConn needs to win next week and cause their rival some real pain.

Let's be real here, unless you are working on the double jinx there is no reason why we (the fans) should be worried about this game. If you are secretly Coach Willie then please stop posting on this forum and keep the boys focused and fired up.

UCF is allowing almost 200 yards a game on the ground. They are giving up 50 points a game over the last 4. They do not have a Brandon Marshall or the hype of avoiding the sweep working for them. This team gave up 2 months ago.

I agree with Brad.  Anybody who doesn't think UCF is going to give us a tough game is delusional.  Ask The Citadel, FAU, and Georgia Southern what a huge underdog with nothing to play for can do when properly motivated.

And the talent discrepancy between those 3 and the ones they played was a lot larger than what we've got on Thursday ...
