Renovating a 70,000+ capacity stadium can do wonders for bowls and neutral site attraction.

Especially one located in the, I'm assuming, # 1 tourist destination in the country ...

Orlando has a newly renovated stadium that's just sitting there.  Tampa doesn't have such.  Logistically, it's far easier to host a college football game in Orlando than it would be Tampa.

And the Citrus Bowl isn't a home stadium of any university. I don't think a neutral site game in Ray Jay would be well received by USF brass - the Outback Bowl is okay since it's a bowl. I would cringe at UF/Miami or FSU/Miami playing in RJS.

"Florida needs to stay as close to home as possible to balance its budget"   Are u kidding me,  The money they rake in and they have to stay home in order to balance a budget sounds like a bunch of Horsechit or a poorly run athletic dept who cant balance a budget with basically Unlimited funds.

That is some BS, lol. UF just loves tilting the advantage any way it can, like having 8 home games some years and never leaving the state to play OOC.
