Josh Newburg stating that its a risky comment due to grades/lots of things on his twitter.. I guess we'll see how this plays out.. Can't copy/paste the tweet due to being at work but its his last tweet to HemUnit.

This article says that he now has a 3.4 gpa FWIW.

2 months isn't very long ago, it was around the end of the last grading period for high school.

Character matters quite a bit on a team and at a University honestly.

Darnell Salomen I can understand, but this kid has a 3.4 GPA and if you read that article he is focusing on academics more than athletics, which is the way it should be. It's impossible to know these kids character without meeting them, kids make mistakes but it all depends if they learn from them or not.

Perhaps this is part of Willie Taggart's appeal, particularly with these kids parents.

I'm so thankful there no social media when I was in HS, and that I didn't have the temptations that some of these kids confront.

Not judging...trusting our staff to do the right thing.
