A couple interesting thing:

-Gibbons injured himself in the spring. May be why he's not on the depth chart yet.

-Optimistic about receiving corps. Mentioned 5 guys, but not a word about McCants... I think something is up there.

Willie always sounds like this year will be the year. I hope he shows it this time.

Thx for the link.

Some things I noted:

-CWT plainly stated the past teams lack cohesion. Sounded like lots of individuals not enough team.

-This team put in some work in offseason and feels like a team that wants to play for each other and wants to rep their city like Fullwood

-Called out the talent level of past teams. Particularly the recievers. Anyone whos watched the Bulls last several years knows he speaks truth...

-Mentioned coach Kinnan in a way that confirms my conjecture that he is intimately involved on the O which should make all Bulls fans excited IMHO

Besides Davis the last 2 years who else did we have at receiver...I can't recall.

Adams and Bronson looked good in limited action last year.

Holtz really left wr and qb tallent bare besides Davis.

My thoughts (worth -2 Pesos).

(1) I like CWT's positive energy and attitude. He doesn't sound like a beaten man on his last leg, which he isn't. Great! I'm very happy about that.

(2) I'm surprised how he described the QB position. Maybe I've been wrong that he's already got Flowers penciled in for the job. Good! The best player should start. There you go, Bullgator -your man, Brett, has a shot to start!

(3) It seems like he likes the cohesion, which is good. With so many changes, I was worried that it'd be a mess. Good to hear.

(4) The radio guys blamed a bare cupboard for the last two years. Yes, but CWT was trying to make us play like Wisconsin! No excuse for that!

Skip Holtz didn't inherit much from Jim leavitt at the WR position and he never really addressed the position other than D'Vario Montgomery who wound up transferring without much of an impact.

we finally have a athletes back at he WR position again...just need a guy that can get the ball and involved with offense.

That would seriously allow our RBs to go off. If they could get some space... See ya

Which hurt because, as spectacular as he was at times, there were times he couldn't make the simplest of catches that hurt and there was no one there to pick up the slack on a consistent basis .... of course, those ones he missed may have been one of those plays CWT called that had the wr not catching the ball.

Did anyone ask him about his consistently poor in-game decision making? Or did they sugar coat it? Wonder if they have the balls to ask Taggart what his expectations are for the season? Why be down when you're making $1M+ a season and you're always able to blame the previous regime for your troubles? How much worse do things need to get before he gets shown the door? It's not his first rodeo - so the learning process should have been a lot quicker with Team #2. We are in a miserable conference with very little talent - there's no reason why he can't have a team competing for a conference championship this season. Anything else should be considered a complete underachievement.

There were also quite a few plays where he just quit on the play... maybe not as many as I remember, but I recall he didn't always give 100%.

...sure, let's fire a coach every three years. That will definitely build the stability we need to win conference and get a P5 call up....smh

Gotcha...make sense to me.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
