Simple question.  State who YOU want to start this year.  Woulard, Flowers, or Bench.

Go.

Go.

He wont...

And I'd likely want Flowers considering he actually knows the playbook right now... given Woulard's well documented problems learning the playbook at UCLA.

I don't care who the starter is as long as he gives us the best chance to win and then produces

Probably Woulard, there's always a chance with our waiver team. You bring up his inability to learn the playbook at UCLA, but I doubt our playbook is on par with theirs. If Flowers was given UCLA's playbook, maybe he'd struggle too. Woulard would've been #2 this year on the depth chart at UCLA.

I hope he is all that his recruiting rankings says he is but he would not have been #2 at UCLA. He wasn't even top 3 last year and 2 of them return plus the top QB recruit. He wasn't able to beat out a walk-on to backup Hundley and that walk-on is still there.

Did a quick google search to see if I could find anything and this is the first page to pop up. I can find more if you'd like.

Before I get into the current status of the quarterback depth, let me say that losing Asiantii Woulard is big. Regardless if he would have started or not, he most likely would have been the #2 QB on the depth chart.

Though he has been slow to progress in offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone‘s spread offense, he had a very good Spring, one that would definitely have put him in the conversation to be a starter.

Not sure where you're getting that. Hundley's back up last year was Jerry Neuheisel, who also backed him up in 2013, and he wasn't a walk on ... and the walk on you must think was ahead of him ran the scout offense.

What possible reason would you have for believing UCLA's playbook is any more complex than USF's.  All college football teams have significant playbooks.  Being in a so called power conf. does not mean that you have a thicker playbook.  The 2 have absolutely nothing to do with each other.  Thiers might be more complex, or it might be less complex, but it has nothing to do with they are UCLA or that they are in Pac 12.
