Bulls To Face Bearcats In 8 PM Kick At Ray Jay

USF vs. Cincinnati slated for Friday night clash on CBS Sports Network

TAMPA, JUNE 22, 2015 – USF has its sixth kickoff time and television designation set for the 2015 campaign, as the Bulls Friday, Nov. 20 clash with Cincinnati in Raymond James Stadium has been set for an 8:00 p.m. kickoff on CBS Sports Network.

The Bulls and the co-defending American Athletic Conference champion Bearcats will meet in the second of three Friday night games for USF on the 2015 season. Cincinnati claimed a 34-17 victory last year in a Friday night clash at Paul Brown Stadium and leads the series 8-4. The Bulls are 3-3 vs. Cincinnati in Raymond James Stadium, including a 26-20 victory in 2013.

The USF vs. Cincinnati game is the third evening kickoff for the Bulls at Raymond James Stadium announced for the 2015 season. The Bulls play six home games in 2015. Great seats for USF season tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-GoBulls, visiting www.USFBullsTix.com or in-person at the USF Ticket Office (Sun Dome, Gate B) Monday-through-Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. USF alumni receive a 20 percent discount on season ticket purchases.

USF now has kick times and television arrangements announced for six games in the 2015 season. Five of those games are slated for a national television broadcast, three on an ESPN network. USF will open the 2015 campaign, the third under Head Coach Willie Taggart, in Tampa vs. Florida A&M on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN3. The Bulls’ other announced national television appearances come at Florida State (Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN), at Maryland (Saturday, Sept. 17 at noon on ESPNews), vs. Memphis (Friday, Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN2) and at Navy (Saturday, Oct. 31 at noon on CBS Sports Network)

USF returns 13 starters (5 offense, 7 defense and 1 specialist) for Taggart’s third season at the helm. The Bulls will return their top five tacklers (9 the top 12 overall) and players that accounted for 73 percent of the team’s tackles in 2014. USF returns 100 percent of its rushing yardage from 2014, including 1,000-yard rusher Marlon Mack, and 50 percent of its receptions and receiving yards.

The USF Football program completed its 18th season and 15th at the FBS level. The Bulls have made six bowl appearances, including every season between 2005-10, and have four bowl game victories. USF has produced 14 All-America selections, 23 NFL Draft picks and reached the No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press Poll in 2007.

Here's hoping that by Nov 20th, we're good enough to turn the Ray Jay green & gold instead of red & pewter.

Not sure if I would call CBS Sports Network a "major" network but I see what you mean.

At least it's not Thursday night.  With Friday at least we have a sporting chance. 

This, and I'm glad it's at 8pm. It gives us enough time to have a solid, post-work tailgate.
