  1. The should have taken both WVU and UL at same time and added 1 more and had 12.
  2. Sounds like Houston, Memphis, Cincinnati and BYU to the Big XII.
  3. $500 M is what Baylor put into Sports with new facility and TCU is going big on build out. WVU is updating both football and basketball, so yes $500M is not out of the realm. Cincy's big issue is football stadium holds 40k, otherwise they go to Bengals stadium. USF has Ray Jay and no other.
  4. Nope not just about Football, Mens Basketball matters. Big 12 does not have a research group like B1G, low admission standards, well look at WVU. Basketball has been a power house back to Calipari - Now Tubby Smith is there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memphis_Tigers_men's_basketball
  5. Not saying Memphis is getting into the Big 12 but what if they agree to a 10 year $15M a year ($150M total) agreement with Big 12 to sponsor the Big 12 Championship Game? Do they get to suggest a pick or not. I say yes.
  6. FEDEX got Gee on board with $ - this is not history repeating itself - FEDEX is shelling it out now http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/15833061/big-businesses-helping-big-12-expansion-candidates http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2016/05/11/fedex-vows-major-big-12-sponsorship-boost-memphis-bid/84223350/ FedEx vows major Big 12 sponsorship as boost to Memphis bid The ESPN.com report also says Memphis vowed to make a $500 million investment in academic and athletic infrastructure during the next five years — an amount that President M. David Rudd has publicly touted, including in a December 2015 blog post, as already under way. The report — compiled from documents sent to West Virginia president Gordon Gee, one of three members of the Big 12 composition committee — detailed FedEx's involvement. In a letter Smith wrote to Rudd in late February, Smith said FedEx would be willing to support the expansion bid by becoming a major sponsor of conference football and basketball, including sponsorship of a Big 12 football championship game. Rudd sent his letter, and the letter from Smith, to Gee. Two other members of the Big 12's composition committee — Oklahoma president David Boren and Baylor president Ken Starr — were copied on the documents.
  7. It was 50% 65% 80% 100% in 4 years, for TCU & WVU to get to the $20M Base contract.
  8. Not sure if serious about Memphis Memphis brings FEDEX FEDEX BRINGS MONEY
  9. Hello ************** - How you been? Well this is happening again.S Supposedly Cincy is a lock , I want USF & UCF only but my assumption is it will be Memphis and Cincy to 12 for now and Houston and UCF to 14. Sell the farm boys, take $1M for 5 years whatever it takes make it happen for USF. And buy some bitcoin if you have not already.
  10. Come on UCF And I will be watching as I have been in Bitcoin for 2 years now.
  11. TCU should get in before Baylor - Baylor played no one in OOC - TCU beat a Minnesota team playing in BIG Championship, TCU had Baylor beat by 21 and got wore out in 4th quarter. Baylor lost to WVU 41-27, TCU lost to Baylor 61-58, Baylor barely beat TCU this weekend 48-46 and will get beat this week by Kansas ST TCU laid somewhat of an egg to to Kansas a few weeks back but other than that more impressive wins. My hope is total casious Bama beats Mizzou Wisconsin beats OSU Ga Tech beats Florida State Arizona Beats Oregon
  12. https://twitter.com/slmandel/status/534880039582834688 According to Sagarin, Marshall's SOS is 141, worse than 13 FCS teams. So, there's that.
  13. Baylor played nobody in OOC, and TCU only beat Kansas by 4 points last week after beating WVU by 1. There is nobody to blame but themselves especially TCU who was in top 4 before the Kansas game.
  14. Like it or not Taggart needs a minimum of 4 years and really 5 to change the recruiting system and culture along with possibly some JUCO kids to offset deliquincies (QB).
  15. So, if we have TuxedoYoda and OverallYoda, is this guy the ToothlessYoda? Landon is a Herd lover any thing he writes about WVU is to get viewership - he knows nothing, actually I would listen to Yoda first.
