  1. I can not believe this thread is four pages long...never should have been started in the first place. Some of the recent best College coaches (Saban, Spurrier, Petrino) were awful NFL coaches...We have nothing to worry about. If this guy is even average Coach will show him the door quick.
  2. This. Fine game by the team down the stretch. Really manned up and made the shots they had to to get the win. We may not win 12 games in the Big East this season, but I am happy with the progression of the program. Collins went out and the other guys stepped up when Mason's shots started going down. Speedy recovery to all injured guys, I still think we can beat UCiF, this team is starting to gel a little bit.
  3. Either way. I will finally be able to make a game in the new dome!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Correct about how they look. The reason the University changed its football colors to match the colors of the univeristy the team represents. The Nike vs UA thing is a toss up. Their have been some nasty looking nike productions as well.
  5. Agree only if you meant the USF gold with black U. .... That's tradition. So happy those things are gone. No clue why people love them so much. Those helmets had an attitude .... "I don't give a **** how I look." If you say so. The teams colors should match the school colors. The right choice was made to change to the schools natural color. I will agree that some big wins in those helmets, but they had to go.

  7. Having seen both play multiple times I'd put $100 down right now that says DiNovo is more successful than AW when it's all said and done. Which is why Taggart is not after thim much as people think. The kid had two stars, shows up and has a stroke of a mircale performace at a skills camp and shoots up to a four stars. If I am Taggart even if AW commits, White is my QB unless AW out performs him by a mile. White has proven he is a winner and most of all is as accurate as they come. Watching White's flim, I see throws BJ was off my mile going to his wides outs in the same spot everytime. White is our future. 2 stars and shot up to 4? You are so clueless it not even funny. The kid was a 4 star, committed to USF and got moved down to a 3 star. Decommitted and then again went back up to a 4 star after the IMG camp, being invited to gator day and other big programs to visit and participate in invite only camps. When he recommitted again to Usf on the radio show he again went down to a 3 star. After the elite 11 camp he once again, shot back up to a 4 star and the #2 Dt QB in the nation. He has recently fallen due to a poor season. Many believe this was because of the coaches (kid wasnt even the team captain on an awful team) hated him due to being UCF alums. Trent Dilfer and many well respected coaches have raved about him, even during his Junior year. I think they know the differece between the real deal, and a guy just playing well in shorts. Am I saying he is going to be the next Cam Newton? No. But I think he will be better than Teddy Bridgewater and will be closer to Tyrod Taylor. White is our guy. I am over AW. If he wanted to come here he would have re re re re how every manytimes it is already committed. Nothing about his flim screams he is the future to me. Again if he was so crazy good why are no other program after him? This is kid will come with tons of drama and that is what we don't need trying to juice back up the program. White is the better QB for what we will run and more accurate I am happy we have him on the bus. If AW joins great! If not, nothing to worry about.

  9. Deadly accurate. I will take him. Completely destroyed one of the better defenses in 3a. Make them look like the extra aged Swiss cheese.
  10. Sounds like sour grapes. I'll take AW in a heartbeat. He's a kid, he's humble, and he's hungry. How is it sour grapes? I've seen both White and AW play in person in game conditions and in my opinion White has a more mature skill set. AW has potential... and that's all it is because in two seasons he hasn't shown much during a game on the field when it comes to what we need which is game maturity and good decision making. AW won a skills contest as well as some 7 on 7 contests. White won a 3A POY and a state championship. How is that sour grapes when I'd rather go with the known package. All we are going to need our QB to do is hand off to our power back or throw quick accurate passes and make sound decisions. That's White's game to a T. This. Said it as soon as the kid commited. His team is an exact make up of what USF is at the WR skill position. They have baunch of good solid wideouts on that team and he lite it up. Kid is deadly accurate as well. I am not stressing over AW anymore, Coach T knows he has a secert weapon in White. Would you like to get AW? Sure but nothing to worry about anymore. Much more worried about running back.
  11. I think our Head Coach may have played a little QB if I remember correctly Should be fine. This. Did not expect this hire, but: TRUST IN THE BUS!!!!!!!!
  12. Understandable. Jury is out on him in my book as well. But you can't argue with what he did a Western Kentucky. Hopefully with better talent coming in he can light it up.
  13. Not about big names to him when it comes to staff. His staff got it down and rather quickly at Western Kentucky. Like you, hopefully frees up space for Randy and a rock solid defensive staff.
