  1. How does a 13 year old girl gloat and how do you know this? You must be a mushroom because you were fed ******** and kept in the dark. There was no crime and there was no cover up. I'll take the sworn word of an FBI Agent over any friend of yours. Look I didn't think Jim should have been fired but what is done is done. $2.75 was probably cheaper than going to trial simple cost benefit analysis. Since I was told the exact same thing from two different people who there I take their word for it especially since one has Jim's cell number. All of the player's had his cell number. I have his cell number. So that make me more credible than you, right? I am not the one screaming for credibility. My experience tells me that often times the guys screaming the lowered have the most to hide. Like I said either drop new details or STFU and get out.

  3. Plantation Pete, or Ron Diaz or Will Florin Dude will you just go away. You talk about a "moral compass" then you gloat like a 13 year old girl. Look we know you feel that you have to defend Leavitt. But the fact of the matter is he got himself fired. It was the cover up and not the crime. Hell even if there was no crime he still disobeyed his superiors. From the people that I know who were there contradict what you say. So unless you are going to actually put your name up and offer up some details then please, STFU and get out. Although I agree Doug Woolard needs to go.
  4. The irony is, the entire USF Football program is a moral victory. A program that almost was... Against the advice of the likes of Bob Stoops and Bill Snyder, Leavitt left Manhattan, KS to come home to Tampa/St Pete for a truck driver's salary. He almost won. He almost had the team "there" until Doug Woolard pulled the rug out from under him to fix something that wasn't broken. Leavitt loses and the Bulls begin a death spiral. CJL did it to himself. Not ADDW. That is incorrect. You don't conduct a witchhunt and frame job against yourself. Pete JL was fired for the cover up not the crime. The administration asked him not to discuss it or have contact with Miller. What did he do? Had contact and a clandestine meeting with Miller. If he would have taken responsibility from day one he would still be at USF. Get over it.
  5. We split 8 tickets between two families. Some weeks we have no tickets left some weeks we have 6. I have not gotten near face value for a ticket since the last UCF home game, hell most weeks I can't get $10 for club access tickets. So before you start accusing people of selling out you should try buying season tickets for 12 years and making road trips and bowl games. So yeah we sold our extras some went to fsu fans some were USF. I went to the game but apparently my sellout price for extra tickets is $300+
  6. Three passes at the end of the first half. Of course BJ is going to throw a pic. He does that almost every time. Was I the only one who saw we were running the ball, finally. Calling for Floyd to pass it. Lattimore getting that personal foul pretty much sealed it.
  7. That call was worse than calling three straight passes at the end of the 1st half. Horrible!
  8. The athletics department said there were 4k new season tickets this year. I would guess 3k were noles. Especially considering the market price for this game.
  9. There is no way that Skip is on the hot seat. USF does not have he money to buyout his contract. We do not have the alumni support for that. Skip has to have a chance with his recruits and quarterback. Let's face the fact BJ is a liability. He is the consistent variable over the last four years.
  10. Selmon was way more influential than Leavitt. Everyone (donors) opened their doors for Lee Roy. Without him there is no football.
  11. Say what you want about him. No coach will ever love this program the way he did! +1. Whether we won or lost with him at the helm...you could never have challenged his love for his football team. You guys have to let it go with Leavitt. He was fired for the cover up and disobeying what his bosses asked him not to do. If he would have manned up and admitted his mistakes he would still be here, well assuming he could figure out how to find a QB. I supported him until it came out what he tried to cover up. He had to go after that. If not USF could have been help liable for large sums of money.
  12. The current coaching staff definitely deserves part (if not alot) of the blame here. Again, BJ had his best year in 2009 (highest QB rating, most TD's) while racking up those stats verse by far the toughest schedule he's faced here at USF (7 teams finished ranked or "also received votes" that year on our schedule) also while missing 2 cupcakes at the beginning of the year to rack up stats against. He wasn't a Geno Smith that year or anything, but he was a good/very adequate QB who was dangerous. Somehow in 3 years since he's not only not developed, but regressed. At the very least, if BJ simply is incapable of improving and he is what he is, then the coaching staff needs to realize what they have and tailor the offense to take advantage of his strengths. I've seen no move by our coaching staff to do this. You have to put people in the right situation to succeed, you can't simply continue to do the same things hoping he might pick it up. At this point, that ship has sailed, so make the adjustments. right on. I keep harping on Snyder but he took a 5-7 team and in 3 years finished in top 10 in a much tougher conference. his QB last year had 13 TDs and 6 picks 57% completion percentage and his QB rating was 10 points lower than BJs. They went 10-2. He ran this QB 300+ times even though he only averaged 3.6 ypc (lower than BJs). Don't you think teams stack the box against them? Blitz them? He tailored the offense to fit the QBs strengths. Skip is trying to force BJ to adapt to his offense. That's not good coaching. While I agree and don't dispute what you guys are saying. What are you saying Skip should do? Convert to the option? I am not sure that Skip keeps BJ from running. I think that BJ wants to throw the 50 yard bomb. There is disconnect between coaching and execution.
  13. Before we start pointing fingers at the coaches. Lets look at the facts. * Grothe gets hurt, BJ comes in at FSU. Had a great game because no one knew how to scheme against him. Then Big East play began. Got smoked because people figured out how to scheme against him. Remember Leavitt saying he had the Rutgers game circled at the beginning of the year and we got pummeled. The back up QB at that time was Landi I think? * Leavitt gets let go. Skip comes in a keeps a couple recruits. I think he signed that QB out Georgia, cannot remember his name, eventually left the team. 2010 backup QB is walk on Bobby Eveld and 3rd string is Landi. Probably not pushing BJ very hard. BJ cannot pickup the scheme. They slim the play book down. * Next year. They sign Matt Floyd who I think red shirts. Skip says there is a big gap between 1st and 2nd string QB. Same crap different year. BJ cannot make the opposing D pay when they bring pressure. Has a "big time" running back in Darrell Scott and a senior offensive line. Scott shows some things but puts the ball on the ground. Groundhog day part 2 * This year. BJ shows he can throw the 50 yard bomb. Still cannot make plays over the middle. Cannot pickup the blitz. Groundhog day part 3. Skip is screwed. He cannot bench BJ. I think the team loves him and he is a captain. He risks loosing the team.
  14. It pains me to say this but there is no way this team will be successful with BJ as the quarterback. It took me 4 years to come to grips with it. He is easy to scheme against and cannot make plays when the opposing defense brings pressure. Honestly they would be better running the option than what we saw tonight. This game could have been any Rutgers game from the last 4 years. This team has regressed the last 4 years.
