Yeah, knocked him out of the 07 game. Their backup (White) actually almost won the game for them. Their offense was incredible, unreal to shut them down like we did for 2 straight years.

Didn't know where to put this observation, so will whack it here. REALLY liked the look of the Clemson offense down the stretch vs Ohio State, they let their future NFL QB run a LOT which suits us. Excited to see if they upset the fightin Burrows.

This guy is the real deal. Don't think I've been this excited about any coach hiring. Was not onboard with Strong hire at all. It's a relative crapshoot taking on a coordinator with no HC experience but we have gone the other way and failed 2 out of 3 times. GOOO BULLS!!!

Love the thought but it's like anyone else who is offered more money, better facilities, higher profile etc - be difficult to turn down.

I'm sorry but if Strong returns next year, I will have no faith in the AD going forward. Tough decision but time is now (or right after UCF game) to make it. To me the writing is on the wall. Kelly went quiet on twitter after the SMU game, not even acknowledging the existence of any of the remaining football games. No public support from him for Strong at all. I think the way we capitulated to Wiscy and SMU might have made the decision for him, maybe he's spent the rest of the season trying to convince the donors. We CANNOT have another season of Strong,

Have to believe with where we are as a program, he'd be right up there. At least you figure he would have loyalty if he does succeed and not jump ship.

This is the real issue I have. He left before QF's senior season with one of the best offenses in the country, 2016 was the year we were going to finally ascend to the next level (conference championship then possibly a new years bowl). Really hard to forgive him for that, especially after he leaves Oregon after that ONE year. If he turns it around here again, what's to stop him from bolting again if we are on the edge of greatness. In other words how can you really trust that he's in it for the long haul, the guys track record says he will take the best offer available at any time.

Nick Roberts clearly has wronged you in the past. Didn't hold a door open for you? Turned down an autograph maybe? Rejected your love proposal? He continues to start for a much improved good defense and is a weapon on special teams. Ronnie Lott is not available in the portal, sorry.

I'd agree with the consensus that Temple followed by Memphis will be our two best opportunities. Probably the 4 best teams in the AAC right now outside of SMU, and we get 3 at home with the rivalry game being 2 hours away. It sets up pretty nicely for us, if we can get win on Thursday against Temple it might be the start of a bit of a run.
