  1. Bobby Petrino at UL football is the only one I can think of. I'm sure there are others, but not too common.
  2. 5 years and counting! It's hard to believe that it has been that long. Each year worse than the previous one.
  3. Lol. Life has definitely become busier over that span, but I definitely get my time in with TBP. I just don't post as frequently as most.
  4. I should have quoted the original article where Perry suggests that Harlan was behind the firing. “Coach Heath was on the right track, but when we got (athletic director Mark Harlan), he was big on changing things when he got there, so out the window that went basically.” woohoo 1000 posts - only took me 14 years ;-)
  5. Jeff Odom (@jeffodom) 2/23/17, 3:51 PM SI suggests that the quietness surrounding the #USF men's opening has led some to speculate AD Mark Harlan has already found his next coach. twitter.com/SIPeteThamel/s… ‪ http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2017/02/23/nc-state-indiana-coaching-carousel‬ USF: The NCAA issues that Orlando Antigua left behind at USF are not expected to impact the quality of candidate the Bulls should be able to lure. This job has been very quiet, which has led some in the industry to speculate that athletic director Mark Harlan has already found his coach. There’s a chance of a lateral name popping up here as well. Minnesota’s Richard Pitino is one possibility, along with Seton Hall’s Kevin Willard and former Alabama coach Anthony Grant. Monmouth’s King Rice, Florida Gulf Coast’s Joe Dooley, Chattanooga’s McCall and Forbes could all fit. Miami assistant Chris Caputo makes sense if the school attempts the high-major assistant route again.
  6. Harlan did not fire Heath http://www.tampabay.com/sports/basketball/college/usf-fires-basketball-coach-stan-heath/2170226
  7. http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/long-time-uconn-coach-randy-edsall-returning-to-coach-the-huskies/ sounds like a good move. He had success there in the big east. My guess is that uconn is betting that he is less likely to leave if the P5 comes calling again.
  8. Bruce Feldman (@BruceFeldmanCFB) 12/28/16, 11:42 AM Interesting move by #UConn hiring back Randy Edsall .. he did lead them to a Fiesta Bowl & will bring some stability after the Diaco Era.
  9. tom korun (@tkorunwfts) 12/20/16, 6:10 PM #USF guard Jahmal McMurray is transferring from USF. He was granted immediate release. @USFAthletics
  10. I think we need a dominating win and 1 or two more losses of those teams ahead of us. I like our chances!
  11. I should have stated "currently ranked team".
  12. There is no question that we should be ranked in the top 25. Unfortunately I think this is the new reality for group of five teams. There is a perception issue....above average P5 teams will be given the benefit of the doubt over elite G5 teams in most cases. Our weak SOS and no wins against ranked teams does not help our argument . Also, just two wins against teams with winning records... not great. With this in mind, I think USF should elimate the FCS game and replace it with a second P5 game. I know this will be challenging, but I cannot see the ranking system changing in the near future. In the meantime, we die hard Bull fans should enjoy our best team in years regardless of ranking.
  13. I know your just kidding, but I tried to correct it, but Could not figure how to edit the title
  14. More offensive weapons this year. We really needed that. Flow was the problem. I would expect that to get better as the season progresses and when McMurray gets back.
  15. We will have Home field advantage at Benderson Park, which is hosting the world championships in 2017. http://nathanbendersonpark.org/
