Very true. My parents are good friends with the Mumas, my dad worked with Les for over 30 years. I know from talking to my dad about it a few times that Les has told him that they get specifically targeted with regards to donating. I know that for the college of business piece, it was a process that was a few years in the making. Then for the basketball center, they were targeted again specifically because of his love for basketball (and obviously being the former CEO of a fortune 500 company that is both an alumni and now a current Tampa area resident after his retirement as well).

We wouldn't be a blip on the national media coverage radar today if the CFB game wasn't being played here in Tampa today.

That's probably my biggest concern with Strong.. The possibility that he's going to put a hamper on QF and slow this all down to give the D a chance to breath. I'm sure the argument can be made (and probably backed up via game footage) of the possessions where we've scored quickly and then the defenses performance on the following possession being abysmal because of the lack of a break.

I remember something I heard a few years ago where you can't sell beer in an OCS? I'm not a drinker at all, so I don't keep an eye on stuff like that though.. lol

It was hard to tell for me, he said it and then everyone was laughing about the GATORade comment and he was saying water instead, so the sound was a little garbled for a minute.

Which is a pretty rare thing to see with some receivers since they're more concerned about throwing a block and getting hurt as a result.

Good points and I'm still a little mixed re Coach Strong myself, I think I just need to let it settle in more. But isn't it a desire of every 128 FBS team HC to win a National Championship? I mean sure, I know it's pie in the sky for probably a large majority of the HC's percentage wise, but still.
