    Preseason TBP AAC Power Poll Results

    August 24, 2017

    Polling closed on Wednesday August 23 for the inaugural TBP AAC Power Poll.  Selected by visitors to TheBullsPen.com, the poll selects, from top to bottom, the best teams in the American Athletic Conference.

    The South Florida Bulls collected all 35 first place votes.  The Bulls #1 Power Poll ranking is consistent with preseason publications and various polls.

    Amazing how far off this will be by weeks 3 or 4...  Houston will be lucky to win 8 games... Tulane might make a bowl... UCF will be 2nd place in East. .. Tulsa will run away with the West.

    I don't trust any poll that has UCF in a position other than last.

    I actually think their defense surprises and they steal a couple of wins.  Maybe even Memphis in week 2.

    Actually I'm expecting UCF to do this year about the same they did last year. This year they play Memphis, Navy, and SMU. There are some who think that SMU this year will be better than Tulsa. They also have to go to Temple and Cincinnati this year. The ranking that surprises me is that ECU is above UConn. I think UConnn will be much better this year, Diaco really had no clue what he was doing, Edsall knows what he is doing.
